Making Choices

Thanks to improved fabric availability, digital printing technology, and state-of-the-art pattern-making software, design choices have become almost limitless.

It’s essential to consider the following:

  • Context: Remember the type of performances, field conditions, and the weather your uniforms are subjected to, as certain fabrics will hold up better than others.
  • Budget: Let your Sales Rep know your price range beforehand. We can design a great look to fit within your budget.
  • Timing: Visit our Manufacturing Schedule to see our most up-to-date shipping timeline.

Ask Yourself

Do you have a price range you’d like to stay within?

What kind of performances does your group participate in?

What words describe your style this season?

  • Clean and Polished
  • Elegant and Sophisticated
  • Bold or Adventurous
  • Edgy or Fashion Forward
  • Dark and Mysterious
  • Glitz and Glamour

Providing the best possible products at the right price, while striving to offer outstanding customer service has always been our top priority. With our 55,000-square foot manufacturing and warehouse facility, we continue expanding our capabilities by increasing productivity and offering better services while utilizing the latest design, cutting, and sewing equipment. Band Shoppe is a family-owned company with a rich history dating back to 1970. We proudly feature uniforms and flags handmade in our Southern Indiana facility. With nearly 100 skilled employees, we are committed to the quality of our products and services we bring to our customers.

The Band Shoppe Difference:

  • Our custom uniforms are always handmade in Southern Indiana using a cell-manufacturing system that utilizes working teams paid a fair hourly wage, focusing on garment quality rather than the number of pieces produced.
  • All Color Guard, Winter Guard, and Percussion Uniforms carry a limited lifetime warranty to be free from manufacturing defects.
  • We pride ourselves on excellent customer service! Our Sales Team never works on commission, putting our customers’ needs first. And should something go wrong, our Customer Care Team is ready to help make it right.

Free Swatches

Fabric swatches are an important tool to ensure that your uniforms and flags look just right! While Band Shoppe strives to represent colors as accurately as possible, colors and textures look quite different in person. That’s why we recommend requesting fabric swatches.

Choose from any fabrics listed on our website or catalog, including color guard, marching band, and flag fabrics. If you have specific colors in mind, speak with our Sales Team; they will be happy to make suggestions.

Style Options

DID YOU KNOW: You can substitute sleeve and pant styles on most of our custom uniforms! That means, if we show a unitard as a legging style, you can easily change it to a straight leg, jazz leg, or boy short. You can also shorten or lengthen skirts, and change necklines.

The options are nearly limitless! That’s why we created a handy guide to designing your next color guard uniform. You can download this guide free, including drawing templates and digital color suggestions.
