Jim Wunderlich Series JW8R Medium-hard Vibraphone Mallet from Promark is a medium-hard vibe mallet with versatility to allow percussionists to project when needed, but also perform more delicate passages. Constructed with a synthetic rubber core and a layer of latex wrapped in cord. Rattan handle provides a flexible feel for vibraphone. Durable enough for outdoor environments, the lush tone of these mallets is also an appropriate and tasteful choice for indoor concert or marching settings.

Promark mallet cores are injection molded in-house using a patented insert design. The mallets are then threaded onto shafts and bonded with epoxy. A proprietary wrapping method allows for variable tension, angle, and index throughout every layer of yarn, which significantly extends the life of the mallet and improves consistency.
