Scott Johnson System Blue DC17 American Hickory Drumsticks from Promark was designed by drum corps legend and System Blue drum instructor, Scott Johnson. The stick features a medium taper and full bead for a wide range of dynamics on the marching snare while still providing a great feel in the player’s hands. Made of American Hickory, the most popular wood choice for drumsticks because of to its resilience, responsiveness, durability, and classic feel.
System Blue Products are researched, developed, and performance tested by the 19-time World Champion Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps and are created with marching band and drum corps players in mind. Produced in-house at Promark’s Texas facility.
