Description

Promark Jim Wunderlich JW3 Medium Birch Marimba Mallets | Percussion Sticks + Mallets

Manufacturer item #: JW3

Promark Jim Wunderlich Series JW3 Medium Birch Marimba Mallet from Promark covers the marimba from end to end, but has a particularly smooth, rich sound in the middle of the instrument. Constructed with a synthetic rubber core and a layer of latex wrapped in synthetic yarn. Durable enough for outdoor environments, the lush tone of these mallets is also an appropriate and tasteful choice for indoor concert or marching settings.

Promark injection molds all mallet cores in-house using a patented insert design. They then thread the mallets onto shafts and bond them with epoxy. A proprietary wrapping method allows for variable tension, angle, and index throughout every layer of yarn which significantly extends the life of the mallet and improves consistency.
