The ProMark Andrew Markworth AM3 Medium-Hard Marimba mallets are your go-to, general-purpose mallets of the Andrew Markworth series. These mallets are constructed with weighted round cores wrapped in a blended yearn on birch shafts. With the ideal combination of durability, feel, projection, and tone, these mallets are suitable for both marching band and indoor percussion—a perfect fit for your front ensemble.
Promark injection molds all mallet cores in-house using a patented insert design. They then thread the mallets onto shafts and bond them with epoxy. A proprietary wrapping method allows for variable tension, angle, and index throughout every layer of yarn, which significantly extends the life of the mallet and improves consistency.
