All Band Shoppe plumes are dyed utilizing the latest technology in water and mineral based dyes. This ostrich feather measures 20″ to 22″ long (sizes will vary) and are a great addition to any corps style headwear. Plumes are available in standard colors Black, Columbia, Forest, Gold, Kelly, Maroon, Navy, Orange, Purple, Red, Royal, White, or Yellow. Our plumes are custom made for each order, please allow up to 6 weeks for shipment.

How to Measure
The following are the general directions for measuring Marching Band Plumes. Please note that plumes are sized by even numbers and in increments of two inches.
Measure the total length of the plume. Stand the plume on a flat surface, stand a ruler next to the plume, place your finger on the top of the plume wire, and measure. The plume may measure an increment past the inch scale. If this is the case, your finger may not be touching the tip of the wire because the feathers are in the way.
Example: A plume that measures 8½ inches is an 8 inch plume.
Please measure carefully; plumes cannot be altered after manufacturing. If there is uncertainty, please send a plume for specification evaluation or request a sample for comparison. Custom plumes are nonreturnable.
Customization
All feather materials are dyed utilizing the latest technology in water-based mineral dye products. Please be aware that there will be variations in color due to the nature of the dyes as they relate to naturally occurring variations in the feathers. Band Shoppe cannot guarantee exact color matching or color fastness on any dyed feather products.
