Andrew Markworth Series AM4 Hard Marimba Mallet from Promark is ideal if you prefer to play on the marimba’s upper register. Constructed with a medium-hard weighted core wrapped in a blended yarn on birch shafts. With the ideal combination of durability, feel, projection, and tone, these mallets are suitable for both marching band and indoor percussion—a perfect fit for your front ensemble.
Promark injection molds all mallet cores in-house using a patented insert design. They then thread the mallets onto shafts and bond them with epoxy. A proprietary wrapping method allows for variable tension, angle, and index throughout every layer of yarn, which significantly extends the life of the mallet and improves consistency.
