A portable, pocket-sized tuning solution, the CA-50 Chromatic Tuner from Korg is the standard orchestral instrument tuner now with even better visibility. Its predecessor, the CA-40, has been a top-selling chromatic tuner for over a decade. The CA-50 goes above and beyond with an easier-to-read display, dramatically improved battery life, and a new mechanism to prevent the tuner from sliding off your music stand. In addition to the wide detection range, easy calibration, built-in reference tone, pure major/minor third-interval markers, and memory backup. Suitable for nearly every instrument, the CA-50's flexible calibration function can be adjusted in 1 Hz units in the range 410–480 Hz, allowing adjustable tuning that matches the song or key and supports a variety of concert pitches with a detection range of A0 (27.50 Hz) to C8 (4186.01 Hz). The memory backup function remembers the calibration and sound-out mode settings even when the power is off. (Settings initialize when you replace the batteries.) The auto power-off function turns off the power when 20 minutes have passed without sound input to save battery life.
